Who knew such cuteness could come out of such horror? The video below was shot on “Rabbit Island”, Okunoshima Island in Japan. Once the Japanese military’s lethal gas operations base in World War II, the now tourist-destination island is home to countless rabbits…who clearly will follow anyone with food. Do you think this girl will escape the bunny hordes? What do you think – cute or terrifying? (I’m leaning toward cute myself)
Be sure to share this video below – everyone could use some bunny hordes to brighten their day!

By now everyone has heard how rocky of a time they’re having in Sochi, with unfinished hotel rooms, dangerous conditions and extreme poverty surrounding the opulent Olympic facilities. Back in 1984, the Winter Olympics were held in Sarajevo, which has since seen violent military conflicts and turmoil. The result are these haunting photos below of the abandoned Olympic sites. Sadly, it feels like a preview of what will likely happen to the facilities in Sochi. Take a look:
This is the ski jump judging stand.

The medal podium. (Looks kinda Hunger Games-ish, doesn’t it?)

The ski jump.

Nature has reclaimed the steps to the top of the ski jump.

Nature has also taken back the bobsled track.

Of course, it’s a prime target for graffiti.

Here a stray dog saunters past the Kosovo Stadium, where the opening ceremonies took place.

A graffiti artist painted Zucko, the Olympic mascot. He’s kinda creepy

I think these goats are auditioning for Cirque du Soleil! Try to make it through without giggling.
Aren’t they adorable? This kind of acrobatic talent deserves to be shared!

The photographs below are from raids of a Mexican drug lord’s mansion. The opulence, the insanity – the stacks and stacks and stacks of cash – it’s unbelievable. Wait till you see their house, and what kind of pets they had – Michael Jackson would have been jealous! Money isn’t everything, but think of the good that could have been done with this much of it. Amazing.

Have you seen this darling video yet? Filmed when she was only 10 months old, she has an incredible emotional reaction to her mother’s singing. (That sigh at 1:35 is my favorite part!)
Isn’t she adorable? Share this touching video with your friends!

Master sculptor John Jagger has created these astonishing metal sculptures for the Sculpterra Winery in Paso Robles, CA. If you’re like me, you may need to stare at them for a minute or two fully appreciate how intricate they are!
